Hello! Welcome to the digitalcreativity.org website
This website exists to showcase projects run where technology is used for creative purpose by people of all ages.
We conduct research, and run film, animation and music workshops around the world.
The authors of this site, and colleagues, have been working on Digital Creativity projects since the year 2000. Our team work with Governments, Broadcasters, Museums, Companies, Charities and Education Institutions from around the globe.
The search box on this website should help you find information you are looking for, this site is also keyword driven.
The whole notion of exploring digital creativity started as a research project, underpinned by sound educational practices. The work has been tried and tested in various formats and has grown with the development of new technologies and the access to those technologies by children.
In 2005 we worked in Thailand with Muslim’s challenged by the Tsunami, we ran various Summer projects across the UK and also a big research project for the Rural Norfolk Federation to engage young people into creativity work across a rural community. In 2006 we are working in close collaboration with our friends at the BBC to roll out BBC Blast, the creativity initiative on a national tour, our team will be overseeing the facilitation of creativity on the truck.
As a team we have people who are expert in researching and using new technologies, plus those with backgrounds in teaching or leading in schools in the UK. We are keen to continue to develop this work and show you the value that it can have in your work setting as a way to further our research. If you think that you would like to explore some of the ideas or concepts, or would like us to plan and run a session for you, or if you simply want to talk about the latest innovations, then please contact us on +44 (0) 845 868 9020 or at the following email address:
